The Guesthouse
Our pool invites you to a refreshing swim - the pool-lounge for a relaxing hour reading your book in the shade or enjoyable evening-chats meeting other guests.
All guests are parking off-street on our premises.
In none of our rooms & suites smoking is tolerated. Please kindly only smoke outdoor - ashtrays are provided.
Sundeck
There are three different sun-decks respectively seating- and sun-bathing areas for all our guests available.
All equipment with outdoor furniture - cushions and pool-towels are provided by us.
You can spend your day off from being an enthusiastic golfer or interested tourist relaxing with a book here - or just doing nothing enjoying the views or listening to the birds in the trees.
Breakfast Room
Breakfast is been served in our crisp-modern breakfast room between 8am and 10am.
Upon weather condition in the early mornings and your wish we are also happy to serve you outside in the pool-lounge or even on the sun-deck.
Our buffet offers the full range of a continental choice, topped up with some German specialities, and warm freshly cooked egg-dishes following your order.
Garden
Our park-like lush garden is in beautiful shape. Our gardener and owners wife Claudia are loving and grooming it with just no stop.
You will find very old trees (such as our massive oak-tree), fruit-trees (such as Mango, Avo, Lemon, Peaches), a well maintained rose-garden and even a koi-pond.
Lots of indigenous plants, flowers and trees will provide you with awesome pictures and shade if needed.
Pool Lounge
Our pool-lounge gives you that piece of shade during hot summer-days for surfing in the internet (for our guests we offer free Wi-Fi) or reading a book respectively a magazine.
Evening hours are often shared here among the guests, chatting over the scores and on which golf-course or exchanging experiences about which winery does best.
Blankets for cooler evenings can be found in the shelf - same as some books or board-games to borrow.
Herb Garden
"local is lekker" - That is easy to translate and taste, isnt it? :-)
Fresh herbs from our own herbgarden - grown just with little amounts of water, lots of sun and topped up with love and care - are used in our kitchen for rounding up breakfast dishes.
Your tastebuds will enjoy this.
Boma
South Africa might be the only country in the world celebrating national braai-day as a public holiday. Actually it is "Heritage Day", but good enough to call it braai-day as well :-) as it is definitely a national heritage to light a fire and make a nice braai.
The best of course to enjoy your braai is sitting at a so called boma - so we really had to have one and did build it in Winter 2017 for all our guests to enjoy this truly South African feeling.
Even without a braai or bonfire, this new facility to our Guesthouse can be enjoyed while sipping from your wine or beer - or capturing stunning views over False Bay.
